"I don't believe that libraries should be drab places where people sit in silence, and that's been the main reason for our policy of employing wild animals as librarians." - Monty Python

If NKOTB got back together, I'm not sure what I'd do. I don't really want to admit what a crazed fan I was, but at the same time, I'd want to support them. But frankly, I think it would really be more of a nostalgia thing, because tweens and teens would be like "ew!! Old men!"

To be fair, those things from your childhood, *especially* TMNT, were specifically designed to extract the maximum amount of money from the parents. They were hardly pure and honest attempts at maximum entertainment and enrichment value.

As for New Kids... I suppose it's overly obvious that, if they do attempt a "comeback", it should be as the "Old Kids on the Block". Or "Old Men on the Block". Or, hell, just call them "Grumpy Old Men" and see if Jack Lemmon will open for them... from beyond the grave!

I wasn't a big NKOTB fan (though I did like the song "Tonight"), but I always thought Jonathon was the cutest.

(When I was 13, I was a Monkees fan, so not only did I liked guys who were in their 40's [at that point]. Now they're in their 60's and that's just DEPRESSING.)
