They were hardly pure and honest attempts at maximum entertainment and enrichment value. As for New Kids... I suppose it's overly obvious that, if they do attempt a "comeback", it should be as the "Old Kids on the Block". Or "Old Men on the Block". Or, hell, just call them "Grumpy Old Men" and see if Jack Lemmon will open for them... from beyond the grave! (When I was 13, I was a Monkees fan, so not only did I liked guys who were in their 40's [at that point]. Now they're in their 60's and that's just DEPRESSING.)
