Soap!

You wouldn’t believe this, smelling my kitchen sometimes and considering where I work (libraries can be notoriously stinky) , but I’m addicted to smell. About a week ago, my friend Adrienne went to Chicago for a blog conference. When she got back, she brought me some soap. It smelled great, but I didn’t realize HOW great until I got back home and used it for the first time. The whole room smells great now! She got the soap from Lush. What a great friend she is… now I need to go to Chicago!

Oh, yay! I’m glad you like it! It’s always hard picking out a scent for someone else, but I love that rock star soap and YOU’RE a rock star, so it seemed like a good bet. 🙂 I have another bar of soap in my shower just now, so my bar of rock star is in my linen closet, which now smells so, so, so nice.

THanks for sharing the info on tweens. This is most def an age group I need to start providing service to. i’d be interested to see your thoughts and what you come up with!

Hey Stephanie! I’m thinking that I’ll start with a invitation to kids in 4 – 7 grade to come and join me for pizza and we can talk about what they want from me and the library as a whole. Then I start to add some tween only programs.
BTW, I love the Alternative Teen Services site. I’ve been meaning to come up with something good to write about for your blog. Maybe tween services is the way to go.
